Rahmi Can Ömür
Administrator, Chamber Counsel, Mediator, PhD(c)
He is the founder of Ömür Law Firm & Consultancy. The master’s project he wrote for İstanbul Bilgi University, on Disciplinary Law in terms of Personal Employment Contract and Collective Bargaining Agreement, was published. He currently continues his master’s education at Marmara University, human resources management program. He specialized in Labor and Social Security Law at Galatasaray University. He is continuing his doctoral studies in Private Law at Yeditepe University.
He established Ömür Law Firm in the year 2010, to share the experience he gained at Turkey’s law office up to the relevant date with more people and companies. He provides counselling to 7 of the top-500 companies of Turkey, each displaying activity in different industrial branches, and coordinates his teammates, who follow the lawsuits of these companies and who are involved in their counselling process.
He has intensified his work towards the health sector and is approaching the problems of the healthcare, administrative, labor and company law of hospitals with a multidisciplinary approach.
He currently provides training at İstanbul Organized Industrial Zone, Gebze Organized Industrial Zone, Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and companies he mentors.
He is also the current Deputy President and Legal Advisor of Ordu Sports Club (Orduspor). He is a member of the DEIK Health Business Council.
He is specialized in health law, public and private sector relations (PPP), national and international arbitration, labor legislation, collective labor law, real estate law, public procurement legislation, and administrative law. He subjects his focused fields to examination from the perspectives of both public law and private law, manages legal processes in the areas of specialization, for which he acts as an expert, through the performance of risk analysis, and he refers his counselees primarily to arbitration and mediation for the settlement of disputes.
İmren Öner Topaloğlu
Legal Counsel, Human Resources Counsellor
İmren Öner Topaloğlu graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration in the year 2006 and worked in various previous sector fields. She was admitted to Marmara University Human Resources Master’s Program in the year 2008 and she wrote a thesis study on the Termination of the Labor Contract due to Underperformance and Determination of Performance Criteria. She graduated from Law School in the year 2014. When she was a 1st year Law School student, she was admitted to Giessen University of Germany as a scholarship student.
Topaloğlu joined our firm in the year 2016, and currently works at our office actively in the fields of labor and social security law, human resources management and management consultation. She performs analyses of counselees and clients during lawsuit and consultancy processes, and informs them on legal processes by also using her capacity as an expert.
Director of Legal Departmant, Consultant
Emel Korkut has graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2008, completed her legal internship education and started her career as a lawyer in 2009.
She has provided consultancy services to the leading companies, association, society in leading law firms in Turkey since 2009.
Korkut who joined our team in 2017, is fluent in English and continues to provide legal services in health law, law of contracts, commercial law, corporate law, labor and social security law, tax and adminstration law. She provides litigation and consultancy services in order to provide best solution as soon as possible with legal demands of clients and counselees within our office, especially in health law.
Nuri Mert Onur
Director of Incentives Departmant
After graduated from Machine Program at İstanbul University, he was graduated from Industry Engineering with a honor degree in 2002. He worked as a research and teaching assistant at İKU for 6 years at the department of Business Administration. He attends lots of symposiums and conventions while making academic counselling and works.
He was graduated from master of Business Administration program at İstanbul University with a thesis about “Optimal Inventory Policies In Serial Supply Chains Multi-Echelon Inventory Management: A Case Study In The Porcelain Industry . He is still attending to PH.D program in Industry Engineering at İstanbul University.
He worked as a quality administrator in some lead firms in Turkey. He integrated quality systems (Iso 9001-14001-18001) and be responsible from quality management. He made process performance analysis to the group companies.
Worked as Quality and Organization Manager for four years. After making process performance analysis to the company he prepared the firm for the audit of Turquality Project. Be the responsible Manager from Turquality Project. Prepared and made the presentation of Strategic Plan of the company including the years 2012&2017 to the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Prepared the balanced score card of the firm. Had responsibility in the Retail Transformation (Merchandising) project.
Worked as Insight Partner (Group Leader) at one of the leading research and consultancy firm for 2,5 years.
Currently, he is working as the director of Incentive Departmant.
Mehmet Veysel Yılmaz
Mehmet Veysel Yilmaz, has graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2015, completed his internship education and started his career as a lawyer in 2016.
Joining our team in 2017, Yilmaz has since been working on issues concerning Execution&İnsolvency Law, Criminal Law Labour Law, Civil Law and Law of Obligations. He analyzes legal demands of the clients and offers the best solutions in both litigational and consultansy processes .
Yilmaz speaks Arabic and English fluently.
Occupational Health and Safety Counsellor, Engineer msc.
After graduating from Kocaeli University, Department of Geological Engineering, he acted as the construction supervisor of a private firm specialized in soil environment.
He received the Ministry of Labor and Social Security approved title of Occupational Safety Specialist, and afterwards, he acted as Occupational Safety Coordinator for the Koç University Hospital project, which has a constructional area of 230.000 square meters, and he applied the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 quality standards to the relevant project.
With his master’s thesis on the “Determination of Occupational Health and Safety Audit Criteria in Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy”, he graduated from Medipol University Health Administration Master’s program (with thesis).
Afterwards, he acted as the Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator at a firm providing nuclear medicine and radiotherapy service to 30 provinces and 60 hospitals throughout Turkey. He also studied for Master’s Degree (without thesis) at Yeni Yüzyıl University, Occupational Health and Safety program.
He currently maintains his works at Aydın University as a visiting scholar.
For our firm, he coordinates and audits the Occupational Health and Safety companies working with our counselees under an agreement.
In addition to Occupational Health and Safety Counselling, he also acts as an expert before criminal and civil courts with regard to occupational health and safety legislation, and he gives opinions to our clients on their pending arbitration files and lawsuits.
Real Estate Law Counsellor
Nazan Kaftanoğlu is a graduate of Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, and since the year 2001, she has been working as a business administrator-broker at an international company, which shapes the real estate sector. She was involved in many brand projects located in the European side of İstanbul as counsellor and sales and marketing coordinator.
She pursued many training programs relevant to the sector, such as innovation for profit, adaptation, advanced counselling training, real estate law, technology and photography techniques and real estate development.
She shares with our counselees her 11 years of experience she gained as a business administrator, in line with sector-related needs, and she supports our counsellors working on real estate law, by carrying out fitness for investment assessments.
Sedanur Kelsoy, a graduate of Vocational School of Justice, started to work at our firm in the year 2012 as a lawsuits department secretary, and she was promoted to Executive Assistant in the year 2015, as an acknowledgment of the ambition and effort she displayed in her work.
Since the year 2015, she is authorized and responsible with regard to the assistance of our Attorneys and counselors and management of secretaries, data processing employees and support staff.
Administrative Affairs Manager
Aylin Demirbaş worked at Vestel A.Ş. Solution Center as a chief between the years 2005 and 2013, and she has been working at our firm since the year 2013. As of 2015, she assumed the management responsibility of our Bakırköy and Kadıköy offices as Administrative Affairs Manager.
She is responsible from the management of support staff at both of the abovementioned offices. She ensures all employees of our Firm to work together in harmony.
